Founded in 1943 , the pre independence era S C Addya & Co has emerged as one of the leading manufacturers, suppliers and wholesalers in the market .

A business that is now with the third generation is still on the verge of expansion. Fishing is an industry as well as a hobby for many as it is a leisure. A small business was already taken to the next step when the company decided to replace small scale machinery with the advanced and efficient Japanese machines. The extensive experience of the product backed by the will to upgrade has been a catalyst to welcoming changes towards development. The Imported machineries contributed to mass production which lead on to setting up two manufacturing units: one in Kolkata & one in Maharashtra! Currently we do have an office in USA besides the one in Kolkata ,India.
